To download a torrent file, first of all you need a bittorrent client (torrent downloader). There are many torrent clients available on the internet. However, best of them is µtorrent. So, first you have to download µtorrent latest version from the following link:

STEPS
Now follow the following steps to download torrent files:1. In the torrent site find out the Download Torrent button and click on it. Just like as shown below:
2. A .tor file will start downloading from your browser.
3. Open that file with µtorrent.
4. µtorrent will show you the list of files that will be downloaded.
5. All the files will be marked but you can unmark those which you don’t want to be downloaded. Following screenshot is given for your reference:
